{"id":2927,"date":"2026-03-11T14:20:03","date_gmt":"2026-03-11T20:20:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blackmesacasino.com\/?post_type=jobs&#038;p=2927"},"modified":"2026-03-11T14:20:03","modified_gmt":"2026-03-11T20:20:03","slug":"count-team-member-casino-2","status":"publish","type":"jobs","link":"https:\/\/blackmesacasino.com\/jobs\/count-team-member-casino-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Count Team Member &#8211; Casino"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BASIC PURPOSE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Count Team Member is responsible for counting all currency that has been deposited in live table gaming drop boxes and all currency entered the electronic gaming devices.\u00a0 Counts,\u00a0records, and processes all currency for deposit in casino cage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL FUNCTIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Count soft currency from live table gaming drop boxes and electronic gaming devices using GFR currency discriminator counter.<\/li>\n<li>Sort soft currency from live table gaming drop boxes and electronic gaming devices using UW tabletop currency sorter.<\/li>\n<li>Record, calculate, and verify resulting totals of counts on appropriate count sheets.<\/li>\n<li>Reset table drop boxes for operation on the following day.<\/li>\n<li>Strap currency for future use.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the casino\u2019s safety goals.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain professional hygiene and appearance.<\/li>\n<li>Attend and satisfactorily complete required training as directed by the Supervisor or the Human Resource<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u2022\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Integrity \/ Honesty<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All San Felipe Casino employees must operate in an ethical manner by following all San Felipe Casino policies and procedures relating to cash transactions, handling, tracking, and proper behavior between staff and customers. Incumbent must conduct oneself above the appearance of doing something wrong.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Customer Service \/ Client Orientation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All San Felipe Casino employees must be able to develop a clear understanding of customers\u2019 needs and goals while maintaining clear communication with customer regarding meeting their expectations. Must follow through and respond to customers\u2019 requests and inform them of action taken in a courteous, professional manner.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Teamwork<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All San Felipe Casino employees must be competent in working effectively with division members and members of other divisions to resolve common issues or problems as well as listening and seeking others\u2019 perspective on how to complete assignments. Keeps others informed and up-to-date about tasks, progress, or projects.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Listening<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Incumbents in this position must be able to understand auditory messages and non-verbal cues to derive meaning from spoken material. Requires the ability to remain attentive.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Flexibility<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Incumbent in this position must be able to accept rapid change in job assignments, schedules, or priorities.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Arithmetic &amp; Mathematical Reasoning<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Incumbents in this job use and apply mathematical techniques, processes, and concepts to understand and solve problems. Apply understanding of mathematics, either explicitly or implicitly, to perform basic computations, apply mathematical processes or utilize tools, analyze problems, identify or specify patterns, and draw conclusions.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma, or equivalent, <strong>AND<\/strong> 3 months experience in money handling in large volume;
